On November 10, 2023, the V International Municipal Forum, which brought together the BRICS+ member countries (MMF), ended in St. Petersburg. The two-day event was attended by government representatives, mayors of cities and regional governors, specialized experts and delegations from 65 countries of the world. The forum was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo and the city government, and the general partners were the authorities of Moscow and GC “Melkom”.

The Forum was attended by more than 7,000 people, delegations came from 85 subjects of the Russian Federation and 200 cities of the Middle East, CIS, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Another 20 thousand people from 104 countries watched the event via online broadcast. Russian business was represented by more than 700 commercial companies.

Many events were organized for the participants and guests of the forum: presentations of investment projects, press conferences, a chess tournament. They also equipped an exhibition room. the exposition, meeting areas and lounge areas for leisure.

Nikita Nikolaev, CEO of Fscorelab, also took part in the forum, who shared some of the results of the two-day event:

  1. The key rate, which has been at a high level for a long time, has a significant impact on both the development of a particular industry and the growth of the country’s GDP.
  2. One of the main aspects of the forum was the proposal to unify the information agenda between the media of the BRICS member countries.
  3. The healthcare sector is under great pressure due to the external situation. Despite the fairly rapid adaptation of logistics chains, there is still a shortage of drugs, especially for people with rare and orphan diseases.
  4. The Forum was a landmark platform for the exchange of municipal development practices and digital transformation of services between the countries. Much attention was paid to AI.
